You will have a strong belief that all behaviour is communication and that, with the right adult support, young people can learn the self-regulation skills needed to lead successful and happy lives.

We're looking for a dynamic Learning Support Team Leader to lead and manage our Learning Support team, driving strategies that promote positive behaviour, personal development, and academic progress.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with SLT, SENDCo, families, and external professionals to meet pupil needs.
  • Oversee behaviour management, wellbeing plans, and rewards systems.
  • Lead staff training on safeguarding, inclusion, and positive handling techniques.
  • Monitor and evaluate impact, ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks.

You'll need strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment. Experience in managing teams and supporting pupils with diverse needs is essential.

What we have to Offer:
  • A visible and approachable senior leadership team and an enthusiastic and committed team of teachers and support staff.
  • A strong support network both within the school and across Authentic Education Group.
  • All staff are part of a professional learning community in which evidence-informed CPD is designed to meet individual needs.
  • Strong potential for career progression.
  • A culture that respects work-life balance and an ongoing commitment to wellbeing.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme including in the moment support and counselling sessions with an external provider.
