Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant in Wirral to support students in the Skills for Life department. This full-time, temporary role focuses on helping learners access education and develop independence during the college day.

You will work closely with staff to implement individual support plans, assist with personal care when needed, and promote dignity, respect and safeguarding across activities and trips within the college environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults with additional needs, disabilities or complex needs.
• Experience in education, care, SEN or support setting is desirable.
• Ability to provide personal care and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students in the Skills for Life department.
• Support students with learning difficulties, disabilities and complex needs.
• Assist students to access learning, activities and the wider college environment.
• Encourage independence, confidence and essential life skills.
• Provide personal care support where required, including daily living tasks.
