Job summary

Learning Community Trust - Wrekin View Primary & Nursery Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Practitioner to work alongside teachers, supporting children with their learning and contributing to a warm, inclusive classroom.

You will lead targeted interventions for pupils with SEND, be flexible, and engage with the school community. Applicants should have Level 3/NVQ3/BTEC or be working towards this qualification, and experience in a primary setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school setting and understanding the primary school curriculum.
• Passion for inclusion, diversity and equality.
• Be flexible and adaptable.
• Hold Level 3/NVQ 3 /BTEC or other relevant childcare qualification or be working towards achieving this.

Responsibilities

• Support children with their learning alongside a teacher.
• Lead interventions and work with pupils who have SEND.
