Yarnfield Primary School, part of Summit Learning Trust, is seeking a Learning Support role to assist learners with SEND under expert guidance. You will support routines, transitions, and behaviour to help raise attainment.

The role focuses on fostering inclusive learning environments, building positive relationships with learners and families, and supporting in the delivery of high-quality learning activities. Flexible working options may be explored.

Competenze

• Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent and willingness to undertake Level 3 qualification.
• First aid qualification, or willingness to complete it.
• Experience working in an educational setting.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Experience of planning and delivering learning activities.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of safeguarding principles.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with learners, families, multi‑agencies, professionals and colleagues to maximise learners’ development and uphold the Academy/Trust ethos.
• Adopt strategies to increase attainment for learners in enhanced SEND provision.
• Support monitoring, recording and reporting of learner progress to aid attainment for all learners.
• Support learners to promote independence, inclusion and equality of access to learning opportunities.
• Support in delivering learning with high levels of behaviour and engagement.
