Job summary

The Supply Register, on behalf of Kidderminster College, is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join the college’s supportive teams in Kidderminster. You will assist learners with diverse needs across courses, promote an inclusive learning environment, and support delivery of resources and assessments.

Applicants should have experience in educational settings and a patient, collaborative approach. Level 2/3 qualification is desirable; a DBS check is required or willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners in educational or care settings.
• Patient, empathetic and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different subjects and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students with additional learning needs (SEND, SEMH, physical needs, etc.).
• Help learners access the curriculum and develop independence.
• Support lecturers with adapting resources and classroom management.
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions as required.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Record progress and contribute to learner support plans.
