Job summary

Yorkshire Rose College in Doncaster is seeking a Learning Support Lead to coordinate learning support across the college and lead the Learning Resource Centre. The role involves working closely with teaching staff and the leadership team to ensure access to high-quality support for students with educational and care needs.

The post also requires line management of support staff, collaboration with HR on absence management, and contribution to timetable planning and exam arrangements.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or equivalent.
• Experience of supporting children and/or young people in an educational or care setting or similar.
• Experience of timetable arrangements.
• Knowledge of CPOMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality learning support across all sites and learning activities.
• Oversee day-to-day absence planning to ensure learners receive support during staff absences.
• Deploy learning support resources to best effect in coordination with curriculum teams.
• Contribute to the college's self-assessment process and performance reporting.
• Provide monthly reports and staff performance information to senior leaders.
