Job summary
Derby College Group is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Trainer to provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs at The Roundhouse. You will develop individual plans, promote independence, and support social, emotional and mental health needs, working with staff, families and external agencies.

- Experience of supporting students.
- Understanding of additional learning needs and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Must hold Level 2 English and Maths.
- Safeguarding and Mental Health First Aid training or willingness to work towards.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
- Develop and implement individual support plans and encourage independence.
- Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs; liaise with staff, families and external agencies.
