Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in supporting students in an educational setting (or equivalent)
• Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Behaviour Management – Desirable
• Team Teaching Qualification – Desirable
• Teaching or Training Qualification – Desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Learning Support Assistants with day-to-day supervision and scheduling
• Develop support plans for High Needs students and coordinate with Personal tutors
• Lead on Education, Health and Care plans for a caseload of students
• Collaborate with Health Providers, Care Providers and multi-agency teams to support High Needs students
• Undertake staff appraisals in line with College policy

Education

Level 2 qualification in supporting students in an educational setting (or equivalent)

Maths and English: Grade C or above

Desirable: Certificate in Behaviour Management

Desirable: Team Teaching Qualification
