Job summary

SCL is seeking a dedicated educator to help learners achieve their aspirations and academic goals through guided classroom learning and collaborative teaching practice.

You will deliver effective teaching strategies, support independent learning, evidence progress against negotiated targets, and contribute to EHCP Annual Reviews where applicable to ensure progression toward educational outcomes.

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

To enable learners, through guidance and support, to achieve their aspirations and academic goals, by supporting classroom learning and working collaboratively with teaching colleagues.
To deliver effective teaching and learning strategies and to support the development of independent learning skills.
To evidence progression against targets set in negotiation with the learner and teaching colleagues to meet learning needs.
To contribute to EHCP Annual Reviews (where applicable) to ensure that progression towards educational outcomes is being addressed.
