Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting for a college that supports young adults with PMLD, Complex needs and ASD. The role involves classroom assistance in a mainstream secondary setting focused on SEND students, with 1:1 and small-group support.

You will help with learning, assessment and progress recording, and you may assist with stock and classroom readiness. DBS check and references will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, especially with SEND needs.
• Good ICT skills and competency with basic classroom tech.
• Confident speaking with parents, students and members of the public.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support for Key Stage 3 pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Understand and support independent learning and inclusion.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.
• Monitor and manage stock and classroom supplies.
• Supervise students between lessons and during transitions.
