Job summary

Landau is seeking a Bank Learning Support Assistant to guide learners, support tutors, and help create inclusive learning experiences in Telford. The role emphasises safeguarding, creativity, and flexible, student-centred support.

You will work 1-to-1 or in small groups, assist with portfolios and exams, and contribute to a positive, diverse learning environment. Hours are term-time with a focus on empowering learners to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification such as Teaching Assistant, AET, or equivalent.
• Maths and English at Level 2 minimum.
• Experience supporting learners in classrooms, workshops or community settings.
• Experience with SEND and learners facing barriers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small group mentoring and support in classrooms, workshops, and community settings.
• Help tutors adapt lessons and activities to be accessible and engaging.
• Support with learner portfolios, assessments and progress reviews.
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and confidence building.
• Assist with safeguarding and wellbeing of learners.
