Job summary

Landau Ltd is seeking a Bank Learning Support Assistant in Telford. You will support learners across classrooms, workshops and the community, helping them participate, progress and feel proud of their achievements.

You’ll assist tutors, work 1-to-1 or in small groups, and use creative strategies to engage learners, build confidence and promote inclusive learning. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and mentoring learners in classrooms, workshops, and the community
• Helping tutors adapt lessons and activities so every learner can achieve and feel confident
• Working 1-to-1 or in small groups to help learners overcome challenges and barriers
• Using creative strategies to engage learners and make sessions fun and inclusive
• Assisting with learner portfolios, assessments, and progress reviews
• Encouraging positive behaviour, teamwork, confidence-building, and goal achievement
• Providing pastoral support as a trusted and approachable contact for learners
• Supporting work experience placements and enrichment activities to prepare learners for life beyond the classroom
• Assisting with exam preparation, invigilation, supervision, and support during assessments
• Acting as a key worker for identified learners – celebrating progress and helping them reach their potential
