Job summary

Landau is seeking a Bank Support Worker in Stoke to provide day-to-day support for individuals with learning disabilities, following each learner's care plan and promoting confidence, independence and personal development.

You will work with tutors to identify required support, help learners complete tasks, and maintain accurate records while promoting safe participation in activities. This is a zero hours role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with additional needs is desirable.
• Ability to support learners with anxiety or confidence issues.
• Experience meeting the needs of learners with robust care plans is desirable.
• Proven ability to plan, prepare, or adapt resources for learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to individuals with learning disabilities per their care plans.
• Collaborate with tutors to tailor activities and help learners succeed.
• Support safe participation in centre-based and community activities.
• Assist learners to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
• Identify barriers to learning and devise strategies to overcome them.
• Maintain learner portfolios and support progress reviews and records.
