Job summary

Mount St Joseph Catholic School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join our team in Bolton. This permanent, term-time role is 30 hours per week across 5 days. Start date as soon as possible with a closing date of 8 October 2026.

Ability to relate well to children.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to supervise and assist students.
Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

To support pupil(s) to access the curriculum as directed by the class teacher/SENCo.
To assist in delivering provision outlined in SEN statements.
To help create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, supportive environment.
Provide support for teaching and learning activities and safeguarding.
Help keep students safe and promote safeguarding.
Promote inclusion of all students.
