Job summary

The Romsey School in Romsey, England, is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our SEND and ASD teams. This permanent role is 30 hours per week during term time (39 weeks) with a salary band of £25,614 to £25,956 FTE, or £17,812.65 to £18,050.48 actual.

  • Provide targeted support for students with additional learning needs, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND professionals and pastoral staff to ensure students thrive.
  • Support students' social, emotional and academic development.
  • Receive comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
