Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a SEN school in Gravesend, with a September start. This full-time role is term-time only and offers competitive daily pay of £95-£120, depending on experience.

You will support students aged 4-18 with complex needs, including autism and SEMH, delivering tailored learning and behaviour plans. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, collaboration with teachers, therapists and parents, and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children with SEN (in a school setting).
• Is patient, resilient, and compassionate.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one.

Learning Support Assistant - SEN School

Start Date: September

Full-Time | Term-Time Only

£95 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

As an LSA, you will support students aged 4-18 with a range of complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning and ensure every child is supported to reach their full potential - both academically and emotionally.
