Qualifications

• Assist students in class and withdrawal situations.
• Encourage and motivate students; support self-esteem.
• Support with rewards, sanctions and individual learning and behaviour plans.
• Develop students' language, basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Keep records of student progress as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher by reinforcing subject matter.
• Adopt a care role for all students and assist with assessment.
• Attend INSET sessions and contribute to resource preparation.
• Ensure confidentiality and follow safeguarding policies.
• Work with the Inclusion Department to understand student needs and methods of working.
