Job summary

SGS Pegasus School is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support SEND pupils aged 4–19 across 1:1, small groups and whole classes. You will promote inclusion, assist with academic, social and emotional development and work closely with teachers and specialists.

This role offers a warm, collaborative team culture and opportunities to contribute to personalised learning in a specialist autism-focused environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths are required.
• Level 3 or SEND-related qualification is preferred.
• Experience working with SEND and vulnerable children is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support 1:1 sessions and small groups as well as whole classes.
• Assist SEND pupils across academic, social and emotional elements.
• Promote high standards of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to SGS Pegasus School vision and aims.
• Build positive relationships to support independence.
