Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support students in Brent's welcoming secondary schools. You will work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to help pupils stay engaged, overcome challenges and reach their potential.

Whether you are experienced in education or taking your first step, you will provide in-class support, assist with SEND learners, and help create an inclusive learning environment. Weekly pay and ongoing CPD are available.

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting young people and their education.
• Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships.
• A confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Adaptable, proactive and happy to support wherever needed.
• Experience with young people in schools, youth work, coaching, care or similar settings is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in lessons, either one-to-one, in small groups or across the classroom.
• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged and confident in their learning.
• Providing additional support for students with SEND where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence.
• Working closely with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Building positive relationships that help young people thrive academically and personally.
