Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Learning Support Assistants to work in secondary schools across East London. These roles offer full-time, long-term opportunities with immediate start dates and competitive daily pay.

You will support students across a range of subjects, provide 1:1 or small group help, assist teachers with lesson prep, and support pupils with SEN. DBS on Update Service preferred; training and ongoing consultant support provided.

Qualifications

• Have prior experience working with young people or in schools.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
• Are patient, supportive, and confident working with secondary-aged students.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience supporting SEN students is highly desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects.
• Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need additional help.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Supporting students with SEN including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
