The Northumberland Church of England Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team for a part-time role (16 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days). The role supports students and teachers, helping with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and preparation of learning resources.
The post is permanent, with a Band 3 pro rata salary. Responsibilities include supervising students, encouraging engagement, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Salary: Band 3 £25,583 – £25,989 pro rata (actual £9,545 – £9,696)

Hours: 16 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days (10am-2pm 4 days per week, some flexibility can be considered)

Day to day responsibilities include supporting students in following class instructions, assisting the teacher with behaviour management, and helping to prepare lesson materials and classroom resources.
