Job summary

Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust is seeking a caring Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join Castle School in Ashington. The role is 33.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days, on a permanent contract with Band 2 pay (£24,796 – £25,185 pro rata, actual £19,370 – £19,674).

The post is based at Castle School within the NCEAT family, supporting children with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, supportive and motivated, working with a dedicated team to help pupils

Castle School is seeking a caring and committed Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and enthusiastic team.

Castle School is a Special School within NCEAT that supports children with complex and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities. We pride ourselves on providing an innovative, personalised learning experience where every child is supported to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be patient, supportive and motivated, with a positive, can do attitude and a genuine desire to help children succeed. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting pupils in their learning and development while working collaboratively within an experienced team.
