Job summary

Long Term Futures are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the NG17 area. You will support multiple pupils with Autism and additional needs, providing structure, consistency and encouragement throughout the day.

The role involves small group and 1:1 support, helping with learning, engagement and emotional regulation, using clear routines to help pupils feel settled and engaged in lessons and structured activities.

Contract: Full time, long-term temporary

Long Term Futures are looking for a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the NG17 area. This role will involve supporting multiple pupils with Autism and additional needs within grounds of the school

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive SEN environment and can provide structure, consistency, and encouragement to pupils who require additional support throughout the school day.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and other associated needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to maintain clear expectations and consistent boundaries
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
• Previous experience working in schools, care and support or children with learning difficulties would be advantageous.
