Job summary

Long Term Futures in the NG17 area is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school. You will support pupils with autism and additional needs, providing structure, consistency and encouragement throughout the school day.

Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team, you will deliver small group and individual support, help with learning, engagement and emotional regulation, and use clear routines to help pupils feel settled.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and related needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain clear expectations and boundaries.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement.
• Previous experience in schools or care for children with learning difficulties is advantageous.

Long Term Futures are looking for a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the NG17 area. This role will involve supporting multiple pupils with Autism and additional needs within grounds of the school

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive SEN environment and can provide structure, consistency, and encouragement to pupils who require additional support throughout the school day.

About the Role:

• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
• Previous experience working in schools, care and support or children with learning difficulties would be advantageous.
