Job summary

Priestnall School is seeking reliable Learning Support Assistants to join our team. As a keyworker for students with SEND, you will support their progress in class and in small groups during term time only.

The role is 31 hours per week, mainly when the school is open, with flexible arrangements including part-time roles, term-time working, job-sharing and compressed hours. Prior school experience is advantageous and helps you empower pupils to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
• Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.

• Support identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations.
• Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self esteem and social inclusion.

We are seeking a number of reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Priestnall School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for acting as keyworker for students with SEND in order to support their progress throughout school. This position is contracted on a 31 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
