Job summary

Laurus Trust is seeking Learning Support Assistants in Manchester to help ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, can thrive and succeed. This role is 35 hours per week, term-time only, with permanent and fixed-term contracts (until 31/08/2027).

You will support identified students in classrooms and small groups, collaborate with teachers to boost progress, and promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Experience of working with young people who are vulnerable and/or who have special educational needs.
• Commitment to supporting inclusive education and pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Support identified students within the classroom and small group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers to promote progress, independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
