Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Twickenham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (Primary) to join our school for a fixed-term contract starting September/October 2026. The role is 36 hours per week during term time plus three inset days.

You will support pupils under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo, help pupils build self-esteem, assist with SEN support plans and personal care where needed, promote inclusion and provide one-to-one support as required. A DBS check is required.

• Ability to build rapport with pupils and work with diverse needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed candidate to join our school as Learning Support Assistant, providing in class support to pupils. You will be part of a collaborative and enthusiastic team of support staff, providing exceptional support for learning and teaching at our school in order to provide a world class education for our pupils. You may have experience working with young children, having been an LSA before. However you may be returning to work after a career break, a career change or someone who has never worked in a school setting but who would like to. We put a lot of store in your rapport with young people as well as your experience. The role will include:

• Providing pupils with support specified by the teacher and SENDCo, and encouraging independence and responsibility for learning and behaviour.


• Helping pupils to build self-esteem through positive interactions, praise and encouragement.


• Assisting with the development and implementation of SEN support plans and personal care programmes.


• Promoting inclusion throughout the school and establishing positive relationships with pupils.


• Providing one-to-one support to pupils as required.
