Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd in Lambeth is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school. You will support pupils with autism and other needs, providing structure, routines and encouragement throughout the day.

The role involves small group and individual support, assisting with learning, engagement and emotional regulation, and helping pupils develop communication and independence. A commitment to a long-term placement and consistent boundaries is essential.

Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full time, long-term temporary

Long Term Futures are looking for a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the Lambeth area. This role will involve supporting multiple pupils with Autism and additional needs within grounds of the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a supportive SEN environment and can provide structure, consistency, and encouragement to pupils who require additional support throughout the school day.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and other associated needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to maintain clear expectations and consistent boundaries
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
• Previous experience working in schools, care and support or children with learning difficulties would be advantageous.
