TeacherActive is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support students with autism and complex needs in a specialist setting in Frome (BA11). The role is full-time and temporary from September, focusing on tailored classroom support and promoting independence.

You will work closely with students and staff to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive, with a supportive team offering guidance and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Salary: £14.25 to £15.50 per hour

The school is looking to appoint a full-time BA11 Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. The successful BA11 Learning Support Assistant will work closely with students with autism and complex needs, providing tailored classroom support, encouraging independence and helping to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with autism and/or complex needs
• A caring, patient and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
