Academics is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for flexible daily supply and short- to long-term placements across The Wirral. The role focuses on supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including EHCPs, in secondary schools.

You will work on targeted 1:1 and small group support, help adapt learning materials, and assist teachers to ensure pupils access the curriculum and thrive in a secondary setting. DBS checks are required, and immediate start is possible.

Classroom Integration: Assist subject teachers by helping adapt learning materials, keeping students focused, and minimizing barriers to learning.

Nurture Independence: Build positive working relationships with students, boosting their academic confidence, self-esteem, and social development.

Requirements
Experience: Background supporting young people with special educational needs or learning barriers in school, youth work, or care environments.
