Teaching Assistant - The Wirral - September Start

Role Overview

  • Classroom Assistance: Collaborate closely with subject teachers to keep pupils focused, minimize classroom distractions, and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Flexibility: Choose between flexible daily supply assignments or consistent, full-time block placements across local secondary schools.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience supporting young people (aged 11-16) in a school, youth club, tutoring, or care setting.
  • Key Skills: High level of patience, strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to build effective rapport with teenagers.
  • Adaptability: Confident in stepping into diverse secondary school environments and supporting a wide range of subject areas across The Wirral.
  • Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
