South Tyneside Council is advertising for a Learning Resource Centre Co-ordinator at Jarrow School in South Tyneside. The role is 37 hours per week, term time only, with a pro rata salary reflecting £34,811 per annum or £29,522 actual for the period worked.
The successful candidate will manage, develop and promote the Learning Resource Centre and deliver Accelerated Reader or literacy resources, working with our primary schools as required.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Learning Resource Centre co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, development and promotion of the Learning Resource Centre. They will also be responsible for the organisation and delivery of Accelerated Reader and/or any other literacy-based resources in the school. The current postholder also works with our primary schools.
Candidates should therefore have experience of working in either a library or an educational establishment and be committed to the support and development of young people.
