Job summary

Jarrow School in Jarrow is seeking an experienced Learning Resource Centre Co-ordinator to manage, develop and promote the centre, with responsibility for organising and delivering Accelerated Reader and other literacy resources for the school.

The successful candidate will have experience in a library or educational setting and a commitment to supporting young people. DBS checks will be carried out as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in a library or educational establishment.
• Ability to manage and promote a Learning Resource Centre.
• Experience delivering Accelerated Reader or similar literacy programs.
• Commitment to supporting and developing young people.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and promote the Learning Resource Centre.
• Organise and deliver Accelerated Reader and literacy resources for the school.
• Collaborate with other schools as required.
