Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Learning Manager to join a successful and supportive secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people, removing barriers to learning and helping students achieve their full potential both academically and personally. As a Learning Manager, you will play a key role in monitoring and supporting students within an allocated year group, using data, intervention strategies and pastoral support to maximise student attainment, attendance and wellbeing. You will work closely with senior leaders, inclusion teams and external agencies to identify students who require additional support and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented effectively. The successful candidate will monitor academic progress, behaviour and attendance, using school systems to track students and identify early concerns. You will support students through targeted interventions, maintain accurate records, contribute to safeguarding processes and work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals to provide the best possible support. You will build positive relationships with students, parents and staff, helping to create a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment. The role will involve supporting attendance initiatives, behaviour management processes, safeguarding procedures, student meetings and wider school activities, including events, trips and enrichment opportunities. This position would suit an experienced Learning Manager, Pastoral Support Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Inclusion Officer or someone with experience supporting young people within a school or educational setting. The successful candidate will be organised, resilient and confident working with students who may require additional pastoral or academic support.
