Job summary

Birmingham Newman University is seeking an experienced Training and Development Manager to design, deliver and evaluate learning and development initiatives that support our strategic ambitions, enhance the corporate training portfolio, support the management of change and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This is a new post reporting to the Director of Human Resources and working as part of the wider Human Resources Team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes.
• Experience developing leadership and management capability within a complex organisation.
• Ability to identify and implement modern development solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate learning and development programmes.
• Collaborate with HR and university stakeholders to align learning with strategy.
• Monitor impact and continuous improvement of the training portfolio.
