Job summary

Birmingham Newman University is seeking an experienced Training and Development Manager to design, deliver and evaluate learning and development initiatives that support our strategic ambitions, enhance the corporate training portfolio, support the management of change and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This is a new post reporting to the Director of Human Resources and working as part of the wider Human Resources Team.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes.
• Experience developing leadership and management capability within a complex organisation.
• Ability to identify and implement modern development solutions.

Birmingham Newman University is seeking an experienced Training and Development Manager to manage the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and organisational development (OD) initiatives that support our strategic ambitions, enhance the corporate training portfolio, support the management of change and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This is a new post, reporting to the Director of Human Resources and working as part of the wider Human Resources Team. The postholder will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the University to develop and deliver an impactful learning and development offer that aligns with the University’s Vision and Strategy and the priorities of our People and Culture Enabling Plan.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes, experience of developing leadership and management capability within a complex organisation and an ability to identify and implement modern development solutions.
