Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Learning Innovation Manager to drive next-generation training capabilities. You will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of innovative learning solutions, ensuring alignment with DSAT guidelines and programme standards.

You will collaborate with Defence, industry and academia to push the boundaries of training technology while maintaining governance, quality and security across projects. A proactive leader with strong communication will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in training design and development.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and quality assure multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Familiarity with DSAT (JSP 822) guidelines and training design best practices.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of future learning capability by identifying, evaluating and implementing innovative approaches.
• Identify, evaluate and recommend emerging learning technologies and trends.
• Develop and maintain the long-term learning innovation strategy.
• Design, deliver and evaluate innovation pilots to validate new approaches and inform investment decisions.
• Champion modern learning technologies and digital solutions to improve learner performance.
• Establish governance and assurance processes while ensuring policy, quality and security compliance.
• Ensure outputs adhere to JSP 822, DSAT principles and programme standards.
• Build relationships across Defence, industry and academia to foster collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement and cultural change within the CMDC training team.
• Coach teams and promote a culture of innovation and CPD.
