Job summary

Clarendon Academy is seeking a calm, confident and organised individual to join its team as a Cover Hub Supervisor. The role oversees multiple classes in a large shared space, ensuring pupils stay focused on pre-set work without lesson planning or marking.

Part Time (32.5 hours/week, 39 weeks/year includes training days). The successful candidate will work with a strong supervision structure, receive induction and support from senior staff and a centralised behaviour team.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who has at least a GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with pupils, staff and parents.
• Self-motivated, consistent and well-organised in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and authoritative while supervising learners.
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a purposeful learning environment and manage student behaviour.
• Supervise multiple classes in a large shared space, following pre-set work.
• Support senior staff and behaviour team; direct students to complete tasks.
• Support students without planning or marking responsibilities.
