Job summary

The Bedford College Group is hiring a Learning Facilitator at Shuttleworth College, Old Warden. You will provide targeted support to students, helping them develop study skills and independent learning. You will work across the Study Centre with assistive technologies and resources to boost accessibility and outcomes.

You will also administer assessments, monitor progress, and collaborate with curriculum teams to continuously improve student support services across all campuses.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 standard with GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training is required.
• Experience supporting learners in education or care settings, including those with learning difficulties or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, developing literacy, numeracy and study skills.
• Develop and promote learning resources and assistive technologies to improve accessibility and success.
• Administer and mark assessments, monitor attendance and progress, maintain student records.
• Coordinate with curriculum teams to improve services and ensure effective learning support.
• Maintain safeguarding, equality, diversity, health & safety documentation and compliance.
