Job summary

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, part of Benefact Group, seek a Learning & Development Consultant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This flexible UK-based role offers collaboration across the business, with occasional travel to the Newcastle head office for key meetings and workshops.

You will support the L&D Manager by leading the analysis, design and development of two learning projects, creating frameworks and pathways that align with business strategy, regulatory requirements and organisational

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development or training design
• Strong understanding of learning needs analysis and programme evaluation (e.g., Kirkpatrick)
• Stakeholder management across multiple offices and teams
• Project management and delivery-focused with good organisation
• Ability to design learning frameworks and pathways for regulatory environments
• Experience creating learner-centric learning pathways and materials

Responsibilities

• Design and develop onboarding and induction pathways for new starters, collaborating with HR, Compliance and leaders
• Develop a framework of learning for client-facing roles across sectors and experience levels
• Create routes to competence and source learning solutions aligned with regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain learning evaluation metrics (completion, satisfaction, outcomes)
• Update and curate the learning library and resources with version control
• Support L&D administration, communications, attendee management and platform administration
