Job summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a Learning Disabilities Support Worker to provide person-centered care in clients’ homes across Hartlepool and the North East. You will assess risks, support independence, and build meaningful relationships while delivering compassionate care.

The role offers flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends) in a collaborative team focused on empowering adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs within the community.

Qualifications

• 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.
• Ability to maintain risk and use physical intervention where required.
• Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
• Strong personal values and ethical standards.

• Deliver person-centered care within the client’s own home.
• Maintain safety whilst making positive risk decisions.
