Job summary

Thornbury Community Services (TCS) is seeking a Learning Disabilities Support Worker to deliver person-centred care in clients’ homes across Middlesbrough. You will support a young person with ADHD, mood and emotional dysregulation, and challenging behaviour to build skills and pursue activities in the community.

The role focuses on independence, meaningful relationships, and safety, with flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting.
• Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.
• Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.
• Strong personal values and ethical standards.
• Dedication, commitment and stability.
