Job summary

Cygnet Ashbrook is seeking a Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. You will support individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, promoting independence and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, at least one year in a related setting, and a caring, energetic approach. You will work 42 hours per week across days and nights, including alternate weekends, with comprehensive training and DBS checks provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in learning disabilities support.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, energetic and empowering approach to service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support with physical and emotional assistance.
• Guide and encourage individuals to maintain independence and routines.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report observations as required.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association.
