Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare is looking for experienced Learning Disabilities Support Workers to join our team at Cygnet Ashbrook. You will work 42 hours a week across days and nights, including alternative weekends, providing care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Successful candidates will need a Full UK Driving Licence to transport service users to external activities and participate in a flexible, person-centred care approach within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a support setting with learning disabilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence required to drive service users to activities.
• Able to provide physical and emotional support with care and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support to residents.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support independence and participate in activities.

Youll be working42 hours a week(days and nights from 07:45am/pm until 08:00pm/am, includingalternative weekends),making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Ashbrook. Cygnet Ashbrook supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been admitted within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement within their local community. Please note, to apply for this role you need to have a Full UK Driving Licence as you will be required to drive our service users to external activities.
