Job summary

Nockolds Solicitors Limited in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a proactive Learning and Development professional for a part-time role (3 days per week). You will design, deliver and improve learning across the firm, supporting strategic objectives, early careers, development processes, and reporting.

The role requires CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, experience designing and evaluating learning for diverse audiences, and confidence with learning platforms and HR systems.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and strong written/verbal communication.
• Experience designing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating learning for different audiences.
• Ability to conduct learning needs analysis and translate findings into practical learning solutions.
• Experience with face-to-face, virtual and blended learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate engaging learning programmes aligned to Firm priorities.
• Research course materials and deliver induction training for new joiners.
• Support the Nockolds Academy and manage programmes for trainees and leaders.
• Manage early careers activity including trainee solicitors, vacation placements and apprenticeships.
• Conduct learning needs analysis and manage the learning budget with data-informed priorities.
• Advise colleagues and managers on training options and maintain internal/external relationships.
• Maintain learning intranet content and LMS platform.
• Support HR projects including Development Reviews and 360° reviews.
