Role Description

The Learning and Development Specialist will analyze training needs, advise on training strategies, and create tailored employee development plans. This role involves assessing individual and organizational needs to align training initiatives with business goals.

Reporting To:

Head of HR

Responsibilities

• Create and implement learning plans and programs
• Evaluate development needs at individual and organizational levels
• Implement various learning methods (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
• Assess the effectiveness of development plans and optimize learning opportunities
• Support managers in career development of team members
• Coordinate virtual, in-person, and blended learning sessions
• Manage orientation and onboarding e-learning modules
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Skills/Attributes Required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience as an L&D professional or training specialist
• Knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
• Experience in project management
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build rapport
• BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, Teaching qualification, or related field is advantageous
