Job description

Location: We have hybrid working in place, with 1-2 days per week, in our office in Canary Wharf.

What exactly will you be doing?

As the Learning and Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, inclusive learning initiatives that support our 2030 strategy and enhance our employee experience. You will partner with key stakeholders across AAT to design and implement a cohesive, values-based learning strategy that drives career development opportunities and supports talent attraction. Your role will involve developing innovative solutions to address current and future skills gaps, collaborating with the wider People team and external providers to deliver an exceptional learning and career development experience for all colleagues. You will report into the Head of Development, Culture and Inclusion and be a part of Performance and Transformation portfolio.

Major objectives

Your major objectives will include:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive learning and development initiatives that supports AAT’s 2030 strategy and enhance the employee experience
  • Provide central oversight and subject matter expertise to ensure all L&D initiatives align with organisational, portfolio and team strategic goals
  • Design and deliver a cohesive, values-based learning strategy that drives career development opportunities and supports talent attraction.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address existing and emerging talent challenges, including skills gaps
  • Partner with key stakeholders across AAT to align L&D initiatives with current and future organisational needs

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a learning and development management role, with a track record of delivering impactful training programmes to diverse professional groups
  • Experience in design and delivery of leadership development programmes tailored to organisational needs
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive skills gap analyses and developing targeted learning interventions to address identified gaps
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to network and develop key relationships across the organisation
  • MCIPD qualified or equivalent level of experience
  • Change-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong personal integrity and commitment to upholding organisational values
