Purpose of the role

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team at our Head Office in Solihull (B37 7YB), with UK travel required. You will be responsible for delivering training strategies, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee growth across the organization. This role offers an opportunity to influence learning initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to enhance capability and career development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize training needs with business leaders.
  • Manage daily training requests and maintain accurate training records.
  • Support the implementation of L&D strategies, including designing and delivering leadership and management development programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and manage relationships with training providers, including contract negotiations.
  • Assist with apprenticeship and graduate programs, including recruitment, onboarding, audits, and budget reviews.
  • Maintain training matrices and ensure alignment with the Learning Management System.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.

Ideal Candidate

A minimum of CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development and proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role are essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the full learning cycle, talent development strategies, and excellent stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems is required. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes and industry standards is desirable; experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
