Are you passionate about developing people and driving impactful learning initiatives? Colas is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team. Based at our Head Office in Solihull (with UK travel required), you will deliver our training strategy, ensure compliance, and support our people’s growth across all levels.
This role offers a chance to shape the future of learning at Colas, working with internal and external stakeholders to build capability and support career development.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify training needs, manage training requests, and maintain accurate training records. Support the implementation of the L&D strategy, including designing and delivering leadership and management development programs. Evaluate training effectiveness, manage relationships with training providers, and oversee apprenticeship and graduate programs. Maintain training matrices, contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.
Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development, with proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role. Strong understanding of the full learning cycle, talent development, and stakeholder management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes and funding is desirable. Experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
