Purpose of the role
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team at our Head Office in Solihull (B37 7YB), with UK travel required. You will deliver our training strategy, ensure compliance, and support our employees' growth across all levels.
This role offers an opportunity to shape learning at Colas, working with internal and external stakeholders to build capabilities and support career development.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with business leaders to identify training needs, manage training requests and records, support the implementation of L&D strategies, design and deliver leadership programs, evaluate training effectiveness, manage relationships with training providers, support apprenticeship and graduate programs, assist with audits and budgets, maintain training matrices, and contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development, proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role, strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development, excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems, experience managing multiple projects. Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes and industry training standards is desirable; experience in construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
